On his blog, Tim Berners-Lee has posted clarification to a recent interview with The Guardian so that his thoughts would be accurately represented. In short, he feels that The Guardian edited out so much from his interview that it misrepresents his outlook for the future of the web.
Following an explanation of how successfully the web functions as a sort of massive reputation system, his closing thought drives that point home with an object lesson in the reality of the state of the internet today, “We can publish what we actually think, even when misreported.”
